The Korkie Ultra 56km used to be run from Pretoria to Germiston. Its flat and slightly uphill route resulted in it being known as the “slow poison marathon”.
Run or walk 56km between 19 November – 31 December 2021 to earn this very special medal! The distance can be done in one go or you can accumulate over the six week period.
Upload your results by latest 7 January 2022 at 12 noon to claim your medal. Upload results by making a screenshot of the app you used to measure your distance. Use app like runkeeper, or your garmin… My Account, under the race you did, click on Upload. Click on Choose file and select the screenshot from your device. Then click Upload. Any upload after this date will not be accepted, you will not appear on the results and you will not get your medal.
Please allow 4-6 weeks after the end of the event for medals to be made available. Medals for this event will be a metal 3D medal with a printed ribbon. Included in your race pack will be a Fokkol visor or fishing hat for the summer sun. The pictures shown is the planned designs but the final product might differ.
Please take note that delivery of these race packs can only be done via Pep to Pep, Postnet or Courier due to the nature of the race pack content. We cannot send these race packs via the Post Office.
Your participation is at your own risk – as with a training run. The organisers, sponsors and support team cannot be held liable!
Let history come alive again!!!
